In 2019, families are re-combining under one roof at higher rates. When Grace Martinez’s parents required live-in assistance, our team listened to her vision for the new space. Ms. Martinez desired a solution that would allow her parents to be independent without sacrificing the benefit of live-in assistance.

This In-Law Suite addition has given the Martinezes the benefits of a combined home as well as the convenience of private space for everyone in the home. Their suite has a large living area with a kitchenette, two bedrooms, and a jack and jill bathroom with handicap-accessible shower. A sunroom with a ramp forms a transition room between the main house and the new addition, allowing their parents private space when desired while maintaining the security of being nearby.
